My name is Enass Nejib Ibrahim, but I prefer being called Naya. I am a 21-year-old Ethiopian who arrived to the great U.S on Thursday, September 24th, 2015. Since then, I have attended Phoenix College, and I’m planning on transferring to University of Arizona for Spring 2018. I am planning on double majoring in Neuroscience (emphasizing on neurobiology) and Molecular and cellular biology.
I have four siblings (one sister, and three brothers), and I’m the oldest of them all. And to answer your question, yes, it is terrible being the oldest, and yes, they are a handful.
On my free time (if there is any), I like listening to music, reading business books (non-cliché ones) and watching Ted talks. I am a vegan and have been a vegan for almost three years now.
This semester will be the first time I will be working in such a program, and I’m so excited to be a part of such a wonderful experience. Moreover, I believe I will have a great time working with each one of you as I learn with you and from you.
